The first time at a Photo Studio

Shortly before Christmas I got the chance to photograph an amazing model at a professional photo studio. For me this shooting was a great experience. It was fantastic to play with the different kind of lights. Thank you Daniel and Mia for this day.

In the summertime I spent some days with my friend Tea in Austria. We climbed some mountains and enjoyed the beautiful landscape. During a hike Tea told me about her idea to take a lot of photos from the same place as she walked down and later we merge all this photos together to one funny one. Well, I did it and here is the solution. :)

The following three pictures are from friends of mine, where she is pregnant. They asked me, to shot them... I was a bit unsure, because I didn't do it before. But the shooting was great and we had a lot of fun. Many very nice photos we created... same shareable photos you see here.

A Street of Wuerzburg

Well, on the first view this photo is nothing special. It's just a picture of a street... To the background, last Sunday I was in Wuerzburg to geocache, to explore the city and surely to take photos. It was cold and windy. The autumn was on this day very uncomfortable. On the way back to the car we crossed the river Main on the famous Bridge which is called "alte Mainbruecke" and reached this main shopping district of this city. I saw this street and still had this picture in my mind. The only thing I had to do, was to take this photo. At home I reduced the colors a bit and increased the contrast and as long as I look on this photo as more details I realize. There is a foreground, there are peoples, on the left and on the right side are buildings with advertisement, the eyes follows the line of the rails or the line of the lamps to the end of this street where a huge church this finally this composition close. It's one of this photos, which keep me busy.

On the foothills of the alps close to the most famous castle of Germany, Schloss Neuschwanstein, I found this peacefully lake.

The Walls of Protection

The walls of the fortress here in Nuremberg are very massive. In the medieval time they protected the inhabitants of this city against enemies and raiders. Now this massive stronghold is a touristic highlight of Nuremberg and nice to photograph.

It was cold, windy, rainy as I took this picture. The reduction of the colors afterwards increased the uncomfortable feeling of this photos, doesn't it?

Catching a flying Leaf

After many many tries I catched a leaf flying down to the ground. I used a manual focus and a exposure of 1/1250 sec. It is not really sharp, however it's a great moment I think.

Panorama of Matterhorn

My short trip to the Matterhorn was 4 weeks ago and I still forgot that I also took 16 pictures for a possible panorama. Last Wednesday I saw the Photo Competition of Steffen on his blog www.lens-flare.de and remembered this... so I built this Panorama and was more than impressed.. Do you like it? :)

Another shot from the Wedding of Katharina and Marcus I really like. We left the house of her parents on the way to the church. Before they get inside the car, they used this moment for a kiss... it rains slightly, I think, its one of this moments, which are more important then everything else.

I left the hut, Fluhalm, early in the morning to take a look, what the weather like, because the night before it rains a lot. It takes some moment if I realized the wonderful weather and the amazing Matterhorn which is gleamed by the sun.

As I realized the weather is being great in this early morning, I took my camera and ran down the way to this little lake to take some perfect shoots with perfect light... finally at home, as I looked over my photos I was a little stunned! :)

We visited the most famous place in Germany, the magical Castle "Schloss Neuschwanstein". It was cloudy and misty, not the perfect weather to take pictures.... but for a really short moment the sun shines through the dark clouds. Amazing, isn't it?
